Most ceiling cooker hoods or extractors will require a drop down box from the ceiling to be able to house the main body and motor of the hood. Our removable motor kit allows you to relocate the motor to a more convenient location of your choice in the house, like a loft space or utility room, should you have any difficulties in fitting your ceiling hood.

The motor is removed and installed separately from the body of the hood elsewhere. This allows the added benefit of reducing the height of your drop down box section or bulkhead, because you won’t have your motor unit attached to the top of it.  

The removable inline motor kit can only be used with our (BR) Brushless Motor version of the Anzi, Tolvi or Synergy ceiling hoods at the moment (please see below list). Previous models will not fit or work with this current removable motor kit. 

These hoods must be installed on minimum 6" / 150mm round ducting or rectangular equivalent. Our equivalent ducting is 220mm x 90mm. This will allow for the highest extraction rate possible for the you and help aid in reducing noise from the motor.

This inline motor kit will consist of:

• A blanking plate to fit to the hood body
• A wall or joist mountable box to situate the motor elsewhere
• 1 x 5m Extension Cable
