Ceiling cooker hoods are becoming more and more popular due to open plan living and new installation methods.

Unfortunately many older houses simply were not built to have a ceiling hood installed. The main problems encountered when installing a ceiling hood are joist heights and the direction in which they run. Now Luxair have introduced a new recirculating bolt-on ceiling extractor, no need to cut any large holes or run ducting between your joists. Simply secure to your ceiling and connect to a power supply.

The new high performance Stratos range have an 'A' rated 950m³/hr motor that uses reusable charcoal filters to recirculate and purify the air. These filters can be washed to pro-long the life expectancy up to 3 years. Simply place them in the dish washer or clean with warm water then place in the oven at 100 degrees for 15mins to dry out and regenerate the carbon in the filter.
